YOUNG KNIVES’ NEW SINGLE, We Could Be Blood emerges on December 2, trailed by this video, which we unveil as an exclusive MOJO premiere, because we like Young Knives and they like us. It’s a beautiful but unsettling slice of skewed pop in the Knives’ tradition. “We Could Be Blood is really just about feeling so close to someone that you don’t notice them, but there’s this creepy/murdery side to it that I like,” says Young Knives’ *soi-disant “big cheese Henry Dartnall. “We borrowed a Hammond organ off Steve Winwood to record this, though I’m not sure he knows we did.”

A limited run of 300 7” singles feature sleeves handmade by the band plus exclusive B-side Tiger Tiggi Ti. Meanwhile, watch the vid…

You can still catch Young Knives on tour at Manchester, Sound Control (November 19) Hebden Bridge, Trades Club (November 20) and Bedford, Esquires (November 23).
