The new issue of MOJO is unveiled tomorrow, but in the meantime here’s a selection of key, mostly new, releases we’ve played in the office over the past few days. As usual, some personal favourites: One Eleven Heavy (a rough cross between Royal Trux and Workingman’s Dead era Grateful Dead), Sonic Boom and co’s La Monte Young tribute, new Gas, new Cope, and Jim James’ return to rock. Have I mentioned the Rolling Blackouts album yet? That’s great, too.
