New Radiohead Album Out In June, Says Associate
And it “will be like nothing like you've ever heard!” declares Brian Message.
RADIOHEAD WILL RELEASE a new album in June, an associate of the band has claimed. Speaking yesterday (April 14), Brian Message – a partner in Courtyard Management, the company that oversees the band – teased the prospect of a ninth studio release this summer telling an audience the currently untitled record “will be like nothing like you’ve ever heard”, Billboard reports.
The prospect of a new Radiohead album has been on the cards for a some time.
Not only did Jonny Greenwood discuss sessions undertaken by the band last year – and the group have since announced a series of European dates and festival appearances that start in May – but fans have been trying to decode the meaning behind a new company the group set-up called Dawnnchoruss Ltd. in the hope it will reveal clues about the new album.
Radiohead established similar firms before releasing In Rainbows and The King of Limbs, although neither company name (Xurbia Xendless Ltd. and Ticker Tape Ltd., respectively) featured the eventual albums’ titles.
