20 Best Albums Of 2016 So Far
The finest releases of January, February and March as picked by MOJO's experts.
IT’S BEEN A brisk, creative start to 2016, right across the music spectrum. And that’s reflected in the span covered by our favourite albums of the year thus far. Chosen by the MOJO team from all the new records released in January, February and March, our top 20 mixes reflective, life-spanning works from David Bowie and Iggy Pop with more renaissance-man hip-hop from Kendrick Lamar and a flying debut album from Heron Oblivion. There are welcome returns to form by The Cult and Nada Surf, plus sophisticated pop adventures from the likes of Nicholas Krgovich, Field Music, and much more besides.
Do note that the list is in alphabetical order, not ranked by fantastic-ness (that we reserve for our final, end of year countdown). But please do contact us on Facebook or via Twitter (@MOJOmagazine) about anything we’ve missed out that you feel would enrich the listening lives of fellow MOJO readers.
