First Aid Kit Grab Last Cambridge Folk Festival Headline Slot
Swedish sisters bring their indie-folk to the main stage on the Friday. They join Patti Smith, John Prine, Janis Ian, Songhoy Blues.
FIRST AID KIT BECOME THE third and final headline act for August 2-5’s Cambridge Folk Festival. The announcement comes a week after the release of their fourth album, Ruins.
Johanna and Klara Söderberg top the main stage bill on the Friday night; Patti Smith ends proceedings on the Saturday; while John Prine headlines on Sunday. Americana pioneer Rhiannon Giddens, while performing on the Main Stage, also acts as Guest Curator.
2018 is the first year of Cambridge Folk Festival’s twinning with the US Newport Folk Festival.
