Bug out to this six-minute preview of Brooklyn psych fiends’ new self-titled album.
MGMT are on a long, strange trip and the new six-minute trailer for their forthcoming MGMT album suggests they're unlikely to change course anytime soon. Featuring a bloodthirsty possum, the spying eyes of the NSA, alien technology and the band's lost-in-space psychedelia. All of which is roughly two steps on from their last video which featured a disemboweled teddy bear and Henry Winkler.

MGMT will be released on September 17 and is reviewed in the current issue of MOJO. The band will tour the UK in October.
