Win 2 Tickets To Cambridge Folk Festival 2017
…And enjoy four free days of fantastic folk, including an audience with the legendary Shirley Collins, courtesy of MOJO. Latest bill addition: Frank Turner.
CAMBRIDGE FOLK FESTIVAL AND MOJO magazine have come together to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets to this year’s bounteous celebration of roots music excellence, taking place at the Cherry Hinton Hall Grounds, just on the edge of Cambridge, over July 27–30.
MOJO are also pleased to announce that the onstage MOJO Interview, a fixture of all recent CFFs, will feature UK folk legend Shirley Collins, the artist behind such landmark albums as 1968’s The Power Of The True Love Knot and 1964’s epochal collaboration with Davy Graham – Folk Roots, New Routes, not to mention her excellent 2015 album, Lodestar.
You’ll be able to watch her being interviewed, live, in the Club Tent on the evening of Friday, July 28.
In more Cambridge news, the latest headliners to be announced are Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, the former Million Dead frontman (who debuted at Cambridge in 2008) proving that acoustic guitars can still be badass. They close the main stage on Saturday night.
To be in with a chance of enjoying all this fun for free (with a guest!) – and check out artists including Jake Bugg, Ward Thomas, Lau, Indigo Girls, Lisa Hannigan, Tamikrest, Loudon Wainwright III, Oysterband and more – just submit your details, securely, here…
