Stars Cover Led Zep’s Physical Graffiti On New MOJO CD

WITH LED ZEPPELIN’S Physical Graffiti marking its 40th anniversary, the next issue of MOJO (April 2015/ 257) is set to deliver a unique and new insight into the landmark album. MOJO Led Zeppelin: featuring <em>Physical Graffiti Redrawn</em>. On sale from Tuesday, February 24.

Not only does Jimmy Page discuss the record extensively in our exclusive cover story interview, but the free CD accompanying this month’s issue boasts a host of artists recreating the record in full.

Uncovering new angles and revealing new shades to the album's songs, Physical Graffiti Redrawn features brand new and exclusive recordings by a host of contemporary artists, including Laura Marling, White Denim and Michael Kiwanuka.

“You had to listen to the album intently because we were operating on a broad canvas. The view was really panoramic,” Page tells MOJO, and the Physical Graffiti covers on our CD certainly reflect that breadth and depth with their unique reinterpretations of Led Zeppelin’s most monumental album.
