Kraftwerk's Tate Modern Residency To Feature In New Doc
Kraftwerk: Pop Art airs this Friday (January 30) on BBC4 with new footage plus rare archive material.
A NEW KRAFTWERK film that debuts this Friday on BBC4 is set to include footage from the band’s 2013 residency at the Tate Modern. Four tracks from the Computerworld night in the Turbine Hall will feature in Kraftwerk: Pop Art which airs at 10pm (GMT) this Friday (January 30).
Along with a host of new interviews about the band, the programme also includes archive footage including a live track from the original Computerworld tour in 1981 and excerpts from Ralf Hütter’s last ever filmed interview, also recorded in 1981.
A rare clip featuring the band playing as a three-piece and a French television "staging" of The Robots will also feature in Simon Witter’s film.
