FLEETWOOD MAC HAVE announced they will be headlining next year’s Isle Of Wight Festival. Not only will it be their only festival appearance of 2015, but they have confirmed that Christine McVie will play the show having rejoined the band.
“Chris came into the rehearsals so alive and with such confidence.”

The group will make the trip across the Solent for the final night of the event which takes place June 11-14. Tickets go on sale at 9am (GMT) this Friday, December 5.
"We've always wanted to come to the UK to play The Isle Of Wight Festival, and so we are delighted that in 2015, we are finally making it happen,” the band suggested in a statement.
“So many of our fellow artists and friends have played at this historic event over the years, and we can't wait to see all of our fans on the island next summer."
McVie's return for UK dates had long been expected, with Mick Fleetwood recently telling MOJO that she had joined Fleetwood Mac for rehearsals earlier this year, while he hoped a new album would be released before the end of 2015.
“Chris came into the rehearsals so alive and with such confidence, it was all fantastic,” he said, adding that thanks to the band’s reconstitution their future had “sort of magically being given back… We’re able as a band to get our house in order before the book is closed.”
The Isle Of Wight slot will be in addition to the band's own UK tour next year, which includes five nights at London's O2 Arena over May and June, plus arena shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Glasgow.
