YOU MIGHT HAVE seen these shots of Paul McCartney in his full Wings pomp before, but chances are you won’t have seen them quite like this. Clive Arrowsmith’s photographs originally appeared on the band’s fifth album At The Speed Of Sound, but were painstakingly meshed together for the record’s artwork.
With the album reissued earlier this week (November 3), alongside Wings’ fourth effort Venus And Mars, a trawl through McCartney’s archive has yielded the original, individual contact sheets, which you can see in a gallery of the band now.
