“THE SONGS ON this album chronicle conversations I’ve had with my old man and conversations I’d like to have with my little boy.” So says singer-songwriter Adam Cohen in the preview video for his new album, We Go Home. Returning to some of his childhood haunts, including his father's house on the Greek Island of Hydra, Cohen recorded the album within the confines of these memory-filled homes.

Leonard Cohen purchased the house on Hydra in September 1960 and would bask in its balmy solitude, writing his novels The Favourite Game (1963) and Beautiful Losers (1966) while living on the island. It was there that he met Marianne Jensen, his partner for most of the 1960s and the inspiration behind debut album cut, So Long, Marianne.

Adam Cohen tours Europe later this year. We Go Home is the follow-up to 2012’s Like A Man.
