Green Man Festival 2016: Headliners And More Announced!
James Blake, Belle & Sebastian, Wild Beasts, Julia Holter and White Denim are among the acts heading to the Brecon Beacons this summer.
AS OUR FAVOURITE summer weekend in the Brecon Beacons gets set to return for another year, MOJO is pleased to announce the first wave of acts for the 2016 Green Man Festival. James Blake, Belle & Sebastian (pictured, above), Wild Beasts, White Denim, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Fat White Family and Julia Holter are among the eclectic-alternative, MOJO-endorsed artists heading to Wales for the event which runs from August 18–21.
Ezra Furman, Jason Isbell, Michael Rother, Battles, Floating Points, Songhoy Blues, Jagwar Ma, Cate Le Bon, Miracle Legion, Besnard Lakes, Nikki Lane, Phil Cook, Joan Shelley, Meilyr Jones, Daniel Norgren, Trader Horne, Formation, Mothers, Sunflower Bean, Kelly Lee Owens, Palace Winter, Ardyn and Deep Throat Choir have also been confirmed for 2016 – the 14th year of the thriving festival’s existence – with many more set to be announced soon.
“I’ve never played in Wales before,” White Denim’s James Petralli tells MOJO of his summer plans. “I'm Really looking forward to taking in the sights and performing with what’s historically been such a terrific lineup of bands.”
